We are looking for a Senior Reliability Manager (m/f) for Medical Devices

Responsibilities

For our expanding portfolio of drug delivery systems including mechanical, eletromechanical as well as connected systems our Medical Device Design Development and Innovation Department (DDI) is looking for a Senior Reliability Manager to:

 

  • BUILD a reliability engineering strategy to be included in our product development process
  • Plan, EXECUTE and report reliability engineering work packages in our development projects
  • FACILITATE failure analysis to ensure appropriate understanding is being achieved and corrective actions are being implemented and validated
  • REPORT the quality / reliability status for our core technology platforms to senior management
  • COLLABORATE transversally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Design, Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Regulatory, and other departments to align priorities, develop plans for design, material, component and process optimization
  • DEVELOP collaborative partnerships with device project leads and key individuals within associated functional organizations

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for as senior applicant with management experience who is ready to shape our reliability engineering strategy and carry our design engineers along:

 

  • Engineering degree in mechanical, electromechanical or related field, advanced degree preferable
  • Six Sigma, CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer) or other relevant certification preferred
  • More than 6 years experience in reliability engineering, at least 3 years in supervisory role
  • At least 3 years experience working in Medical Device or Drug Device Combination Product industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA Design Control and associated Risk Management is preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, experience with Minitab, R, or other statistical software preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Experience with SCRUM and agile development processes and methodologies a plus
  • Good knowledge of HALT / HASS testing
  • Very good English knowledge
